JOYS OF BEING SANCTIFIED
MEMORISE:
‘I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in
me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without
me ye can do nothing.’ (John 15:5)
READ:
John
3: 20- 21
Many times people who are sanctified may feel
isolated if they look at others around them. Their peers may
hassle them, telling them to take things easy, and not to be
so caught up in religion. This is because theses peers do not
understand sanctified people’s desire to relentlessly
pursue their ultimate goal – to bring glory to Jesus and
to please him only.
Even though sanctified people may feel alone,
they definitely aren’t. they enjoy certain privileges
to which others have no access. One of these privileges is absolute
security. Demons are loathe to come near you if you are one
of the favourites of the King of kings, because they know God
is a consuming fire, and that he will roast them if they try
to hurt you. Sanctification makes us unafraid of being exposed,
because we have nothing to hide. When you have reached this
point, you are ready for fellowship with Jesus and for the second
coming of Christ, John 3: 20-21 says when you do truthful works,
you will be delighted when they are exposed in the light, because
they will not condemn you, but justify you.
‘I am the vine, ye are the branches: he
that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much
fruits; for without me ye can do nothing’ (John 15:5)
another joy sanctified people experience is
abundant fruitfulness. This means that, as you grow closer to
Jesus and tell people about him, soul winning will become very
easy for you. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will also be readily
available to you. In Acts 19:11- 12 God performed special miracles
through the hands of Paul, even using handkerchief and aprons
to heal the sick. How did he get this special gift? By being
close to Jesus. We can also access great gifts by drawing closer
to him today!
