WEAKNESS OF A GIANT

MEMORISE: ‘That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth…’ (Phil 2: 10)

When Goliath came to fight with David, he was in his armour. Everywhere was covered.
But there was one part of his head that was exposed and that was where David’s stone entered. This shows that irrespective of its size, every problem has at least one solution. It is the duty of the prayerful believer to locate the weak spot in a giant, through which he can be brought down. That nagging issue in your life has a solution. While others were intimidated by the credentials and outfit of Goliath, David was busy looking out for his weak spot.

The Name of Jesus is a key that unlocks every closed door. Physical, spiritual, seen or unseen things all respond to that Name. if you bring that Name against your enemies, they will disappear. If you bring that Name against the Dagon that has been erected on your way, it will bow and be broken in pieces. If you bring the Name of Jesus against lack and poverty, they will give away to miraculous provision.

David knew the secret of victory. He picked five smooth stones from the brook. These stones are smooth because they are tried stones. They spell JESUS. He boldly told Goliath: ‘But I come to thee in the name of the LORD of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel whom thou has defied’ (1 Sam 17: 45b).

Scripture says your body is God’s dwelling place. The presence of sickness in your body defies the owner of the House – Jehovah Nissi – and that’s why you should confront it by that Name. after all, Isaiah 43: 5 says Jesus paid the price for you to be healed some 2000 years ago. The stripped and wounded body of Jesus is the receipt for that payment. Why must you begin to pay for your healing a second time? Arise and stand up for your right.

That gigantic problem standing in your way must crumble. I don’t care how long it has been there. It must bow to that Name. Crush it now by the Name above all names and you will have your victory.

ACTION POINT
Command the mountains in your life (mention them by name) to crumble in
the Name of Jesus. Ask God to show you the way out in every problematic situation.
