Text: Exodus 17:8-16

No battle is so tough or fierce that you cannot win, as a child of God. All you have to do is to discover your means of victory. You cannot win the battles of life without the help of the Almighty. What then is the secret of victory? You will experience victory when you allow the One who has never lost a battle to lift up your hands above that of your opponents in battle.

During the battle between the children of Israel and the Amalekites, whenever Moses lifted up his hands, the children of Israel won, but when he lowered his hands, the Amalekites won. Aaron and Hur were on the mountaintop. They supported the hands of Moses because they knew that their victory resided in Moses hands. Moses’ hands were special hands. They knew that if they allowed him to rest and they had to use their own hands instead, the battle would be lost. The Almighty want to increase the number of such special hands and you can be one of them. Elisha cut down the stick and cast it into the river.

We need divine solutions to problems before we can get the desired effects. A specially chosen hand must be raised up before you can receive your miracle. Without a divine touch, victory will elude you. The blood of Jesus is available to whoever believes in Him. Salvation is available to the whole world, but the whole world is not saved because they have refused to apply the divine solution. Many of those who will go to hell will have no excuse at all. We have a solution against the attacks of the enemy: the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11).

The blood of Jesus is powerful. It protects you from everything that the enemy can haul at you. All you have to say is, “I am covered by the blood of Jesus.” There is power in the blood of Jesus. This is your only security in the midst of the battle that is raging.
