Topic: Prosperity Mind Set
Text: Haggai 2:1-9

You need to have proper attitude in other to achieve the divine plan for your life concerning the subject of prosperity Haggai 2:8 says: “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of host.” Anybody who makes such a claim cannot be regarded as poor. Silver and gold are just two minerals in the bowers of the earth. There are lots more like coal, diamond, oil and so on.

In Psalms 104:24, the Bible says: “O Lord, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.” The earth is full of the riches of the Lord. I had a friend who as one of the riches men ever to live in this country. By the time he died, he had two hundred and fifty six million U.S. dollars in Australia alone, not to talk of the money in America, or Switzerland, or here in Nigeria. Rich as he was, his wealth did not fill the whole earth.

However, the wealth of God fills the whole earth. God is not poor at all, by all, by any standard. It is also clear that the closest friends of God were wealthy people. When Moses asked for God’s name, the Almighty God introduced Himself as. “I AM THAT I AM” (Exodus 3:14). He went further to say, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” He said “that will be my Name forever.” That means, if they ask of God’s three closest friends, the men are: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Those three people that God called His friends were by no means poor. Genesis 13:2 talks about Abraham: “And Abraham was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” Let us see Isaac in Genesis 26:12-14: “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundred fold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks and possession of herds, and great store of servants; and the Philistines envied him.” A whole nation envied one man!
