Job 11 - 13
Topic:
Additional Benefits
Text: Matthew 6:25-33
Fear
is a force that has captured millions of people all over the world.
Men and women manifest fear in response to the various circumstances,
which they go through. Some types of fear are common with women.
Those who have gone through traumatic experiences also carry in
their hearts a kind of fear, which may be unknown to others. As
a rich man, for example, you may have the fear of losing all you
have and becoming poor. This was the type of fear that Job had.
Many people think Job did not sin.
On
the contrary, Job committed two sins. One was fear while the other
was pride. When his problems started, he said it was what he feared
that happened to him. Once you have fear in your mind, the devil
will use this to deal with you. It is whatever you prophesy on
yourself that will happen to you. Never think evil of yourself.
Your tomorrow will be all right as long as you are in Jesus Christ.
Never get worried about what you will eat or wear.
Even
if you try to worry you are not likely to solve life’s problems
without divine assistance. Instead of worrying, you can rely on
God as your Shepherd. David said he would not want because the
Lord was his Shepherd. The Shepherd knows that if he does not
feed the sheep, the sheep will die. When there is no sheep there
will be no shepherd. Jesus Christ is the good Shepherd. He will
always take care of us. He has admonished us to seek the Kingdom
of God and His righteousness; money, clothing and food will come
as additional blessings.
Memory Verse: Job 3:25 - “For the thing which I greatly
feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come
unto me”.
