PEACE
IN THE STORM
MEMORISE:
'When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou
walkest Through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; Neither
shall the flame kindle upon thee.' (Isa 43:2)
READ:
Isaiah
43:1-4
Whatever
situation or peril you may be in, you can be at peace. God never
promised his children a rose garden. But he assures them that
when the problems come, he will be with them. 'When thou passest
through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the
fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle
upon thee' (Isa 43:2).
For
the child of God, the waters will come, the fire will come.
Both with the intention of destroying you. But because God is
with you, you have nothing to fear. Stay calm and rest in the
Lord. How will suspend the natural effect of water and demonstrate
his awesome power in your situation.
Is
your faith going through a fiery test? Has the enemy come against
you like a flood, to unseat and swallow you up? Take heart!
Because God is with you, you will successfully come through.
Elisha set quietly in his house even when the king of Samaria
tried to arrest him. Shadrah, Meshach and Abednego stood face
to face with king Nebuchadnezzer and told him they would rather
enter his fire than obey him and burn in God's eternal hell
fire. Unagitated, the trio found a place of rst in trouble.
Jesus
was in the boat when Satan began to raise waves to capsize it.
While his disciples panicked, thinking death was imminent, he
slept soundly. Do not let one problem generate further problems.
That is, do not let that situation of lack or temporary joblessness
or childlessness lead you into hypertension or break up your
home! Trust and rest in Jesus. Be spirit- filled. Full of the
Holy Ghost, you can enjoy peace in the midst of the storms of
life. No weapon formed by hell against you will prosper. Rest
in Jesus. Let Satan's moves amount to nothing.
ACTION
POINT
Remember that the ability to remain unmoved in the face
of a crisis
Is a mark of maturity, faith and strength?
