The Cleansing Blood
Text: John 3:1-6
There is no short cut to heaven.
Those who try to be clever by half will discover at the end of
the day that they had taken a trip to the land of error. All roads
lead to Rome but only one-road leads to heaven. Satan often admonishes
people that, if they do not make heaven at first, God will send
them back to have a second chance.
Hebrews 9:27 says: “And
as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
Satan knows that if you can just believe his gospel lies, you
will be committing secret sins, hoping to correct yourself along
the way. Another error often peddled by Satan is that as long
as you follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, all is well. He would
however not mention the issue of Salvation. He would want you
believe that the message of Salvation is for idiots and that Jesus
Christ was just a Good Teacher. But Jesus is more than a teacher
- He is the Son of the Living God.
The Bible tells us something in
John 3:3, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man
be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” There
is no room for sitting on the fence.
It is either you accept Jesus
or go to hell. Satan does not believe in the idea of washing in
the blood of Jesus Christ. To him it does not make sense to wash
in the blood of someone who died about 2000 years ago. Satan knows
what is written in Hebrews 9:22, “And almost all things
are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood
is no remission.”
If you are not washed in the blood
of Jesus Christ and are aspiring to make the Kingdom of God, you
must be a joker. If you do not believe in the blood that was shed
at Calvary and call yourself a child of God, where you rightly
belong will dawn on you on the last day.
I believe that the blood of Jesus
Christ cleanses from all unrighteousness. It cleansed me. He promised
that if He sees the blood He would pass over. Death and hell shall
pass over me. Theologians, skeptics or religious people cannot
undermine the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Without the
shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin.
Memory Verse: Hebrews 9:27 - And
as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
