Topic: Laying On Of Hands
Text: Acts 27:1-25

Believers who understand the power of transference of spirits know that both good and evil can be transferred. The closeness of a particular person o you can either bring much or much evil into your life.

Let us examine a few examples. Portiphar was blessed for Joseph’s sake. Unfortunately, Joseph was thrown into prison. From that day, Portiphar’s star never shown again. The sun of his life set. Nothing was ever heard of his name again. It is my prayer that God should touch all those who will bring blessings into your life, whenever they may be, in Jesus name. According to our text, Paul was traveling in a ship and there was a great storm. God told Paul that nobody would die in the ship for Paul’s sake. In other words, Paul brought blessings into a ship, which was the other way round in Jonah’s case. If you are born again, there is the possibility that you also have brought blessings into your family.

The word of God is real. In Deuteronomy 34:9, the Bible says; “And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.” Joshua was full of the spirit of wisdom because the blessed hands of Moses had been laid on his head. I have always advised my children, especially the women, to be careful of who is their hairdresser. If a witch should every plait your hair, God have mercy on you. You have to be careful about who touches your head.

Some people approach just any Pastor to lay his hands on their head. Sometime ago, someone who called himself an evangelist came to me and said he wanted to lay hands on me and pray for me so that my anointing would increase. I refused his hands but I allowed him to pray. Some months later, I received a letter from him in which he apologized and confessed that he was sent by the devil. What would have happened if he had laid hands on me? Your guess is as good as mine. Allow only true children of God to lay hands on you. You will know a true child of God by his or her fruits. Don’t even allow any negative anointing to flow into your life.
