Topic: Great Possibilities
Text: Genesis 18:1-15

We serve a God who is able to do all things. Your faith in Him will open up a world of possibilities before you. What do you want God to do for you today? Do you need prosperity? Do you need healing? God has made provision for your healing and health. The Bible opens before us a world of possibilities: “But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). “He sent his word, and healed them and delivered them from their destruction”(Psalms 107:20). There is a stripe of Jesus for healing and there is the Word of God for healing. Both of them are available to us. However, if we do not apply these solutions, there is nothing God can do.

The Bible says: “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37). Miracles do not obey scientific laws. When a doctor says your case has no remedy, it is just what science says. Your response should be to regard this as mere scientific pronouncement but believe that, spiritually, something will happen to defy all known laws. We must walk by faith and not by sight. When miracles take place all natural laws are suspended. The Lord suspended the law of gravity when He walked on water. God can suspend any law in order to meet your needs. There was a time when the sun stood still, in Joshua 10:12-14. When Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days, everything that would have digested any food in the fish stopped functioning (Jonah 2:10). Also when Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, the lions lost their appetite; they were supernaturally overfed. God will always reverse or suspend the laws of nature.

There is a story in Genesis 18:10-14 which centers on Sarah who was already 90 years old and was, medically, past the childbearing age. God said she would have a baby but she laughed at this. God went ahead and reversed the situation and Sarah had a child. God will reverse everything in your life that had gone in the wrong direction. You have a world of possibilities before you. God is ready to change the laws of nature in order to give you a miracle. Have faith in God. There is nothing He cannot do for you.
