Topic: The Guaranty
Text: Romans 8:31-39

Manufacturers all over the world generally offer a time-bound warranty on their products. During the given period, those who purchase the products can have them replaced in case of any problem arising from defect, malfunction or any other thing that falls within the terms of the warranty. The warrant given by manufacturers has some limitations, but God’s warranty is error-proof. When the Almighty God is with you, no matter what happens, the result shall be well with you. In Isaiah 42:5-6, the bible says: “Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heaven, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles”. The Almighty God says because we are His, He will hold our hands. If you are the one holding on to Jesus, the storm may come and snatch your hand from Him. However, because He is the one holding you, there is no storm that can take you away from His hand. This is the greatest guarantee that we have for our security. Because we have the guarantee of His presence, we have the guarantee of divine victory. Romans 8:31 says: “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” In I Samuel 17:37, after Saul had argued with David about going to fight Goliath, he told David to go and fight Goliath and that God would be with him. Even King Saul, in his backslidden state, knew that if God is with you, no Goliath can stand in your way. In Numbers 14:6-9, we have the story of the 12 spies whom Moses sent to go and spy the Promised Land. When they returned, ten of them said the land was good but they could not take it because of the giants inhabiting the place. Two people, Caleb and Joshua, said because God was with them, the giants would be bread for them. As long as God is with you, anyone who rises against you will become a stepping stone to glory. Whoever opposes you is just creating rooms for you to give testimonies because God’s divine presence guarantee divine victory.
