133 - 135
Topic:Certainty
Of Victory
Text: Luke 10:17-20
As
children of God, our victory is certain. We cannot fail but we
should watch and pray and also stand firm. The devil does not
want us to enjoy the blessings of God. He is always devising diabolical
strategies to deprive us of our bona fide blessings.
For
instance, if your progress has been halted, you need to quickly
find out the cause. If you had been prospering in your business
but, suddenly, you start piling up debts, you have to find out
the cause. If you had been passing all your examinations but suddenly
begin to fail, you are finding problems where there used to be
peace, you have to find out what is blocking your way. If it is
a demon that is blocking your way, there is no problem because,
according to Mark 16:17, Lord said: “And these signs shall
follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongue.”
All
you have to do to get rid of the demon is to pronounce a decree.
From the day you became born-again, according to the word of God
that is forever settled, you have become a king. Christ has made
us kings and priests to His Father. If you are a true child of
God, you will rule by decrees. When you decree a thing it shall
be established unto you (Job 22:28). Whatever you bind on earth
shall be bound in Heaven (Matthew 18:18). It might be curses blocking
your ways. If there is a curse in your life, ask your Pastor to
break it. The most difficult situation, however, is when it is
an angel sent by God that has blocked your way. When you tell
the angel to get out of your way in the name of Jesus Christ,
he would tell you that it is Jesus Christ that has sent him to
block your way.
The
Bible tells us in Genesis 3:23-24 that when God drove Adam and
Eve out of the garden of Eden, He placed an angel there with a
flaming sword, to stop them from coming back. What do you do if
it is an angel blocking your way? All you have to do is repent,
make your ways right with God and He will remove the barrier.
Memory Verse: I Peter 2:9 - “But ye are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people that ye
should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light;”
