Topic:
Greater Possibilities
Text: Genesis 28:1-7
Today,
we shall continue to examine the lives of Bible characters that
received breakthroughs. Joshua had a great breakthrough. Joshua
1:1-3: “Now after the death of Moses the servant of the
Lord it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son
of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead;
not therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people,
unto the land which I do give to them even to the children of
Israel. Every place that the sole of your sole of your foot shall
tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.”
He even told the Sun to stop and it stopped.
Elisha
also had a great breakthrough. He was linked to Elijah who had
a breakthrough. We are told that he was the one pouring water
into the hands of Elijah. He got double portion of the spirit
of Elijah. Elijah performed seven notable miracles while Elisha
performed fourteen. There is also extra-ordinary breakthrough.
The man who discovered electricity had an extra-ordinary breakthrough.
He performed an extra-ordinary feat.
There
are people in the Bible who had extra-ordinary breakthroughs.
He had an extra-ordinary breakthrough. Jacob was more prosperous
than Isaac but he lived under the shadow of death. His brother
Esau wanted to kill him. The night before they met, the God of
breakthrough visited him and his name was changed to Israel. When
he came face to face with Esau, they embraced each other.
He
experienced greater breakthroughs. Today, I challenge you to manifest
faith for great breakthroughs. Ask God to give you the type of
breakthrough that exceeds that of any one around you. Make up
your mind to demonstrate the best of what God can do.

silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.” |
