John 11 - 13
Topic:God
Cares
Text: Psalms 37:3-9
Our
God is caring and compassionate. His heart goes out to us whenever
we are hurt. He does not only care; He is able to solve any problem
we take before Him. He is a prayer-answering God. What else can
assure us of certainty in receiving answers to our prayers more
than the fact that God cares for us? God’s care and benevolence
will never allow us to suffer. His mercy and compassion will never
fail. Once you hand your problem over to God, leave it with Him.
The
Bible says, in I Peter 5:7 “Casting all your cares upon
Him; for He careth for you.” God cares for us. He knows
all the details about us. We have to learn from the farmer. Once
a farmer has planted a seed, he leaves the rest to God. He knows
that only God can cause the seed to germinate and not him, the
farmer. The process of the germination of a seed is the prerogative
of God. One thing that is certain is that the law of harvest will
come to pass: when you sow, you will reap.
The
same thing goes for giving. When you have given, leave it to God
to work out how you will get a hundred-fold in return. The Bible
says: “Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and
our shield. For our hearts shall rejoice in him, because we have
trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according
as we hope in thee.” Once you have handed over any problem
to God, just begin to rejoice because He will handle the rest.
God cannot fail.
Your
problem, whatever it is, is not too hard for God. What do you
do after you have handed over to Him? While you are waiting for
Him, continue to rejoice, whatever happens. Fill with praises
the moments between the commencement of prayer and the time full
answers are received. There should be no doubt in your heart as
to whether or not God will fulfill His words in your life. He
can. He will.
Memory Verse: Psalms 14:1 - “The fool hath said in his heart,
there is no God. They are corrupt they have done abominable works,
there is none that doeth good.”
