Topic:A valuable Vessel
Text: I Samuel 10:6-10

When a man is full of the Holy Spirit he suddenly becomes useful. His hands become powerful hands, and he begins to distribute blessings. I pray that God will fill you with the Holy Spirit. Great blessings will come upon you when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. The power of God suddenly begins to dwell in you. The Bible says: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will cease to be ordinary. Your life will cease to be a useless life. The easiest way to become powerful, without winning an election or fraud, is to receive the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will become a celebrity. I am talking of the power that will last forever. Pray that you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit today. Remember, Saul was an ordinary man until the Holy Spirit came upon him and people began asking, “Is Saul also among the prophets?” (I Samuel 10:11).

Can you remember the ass on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem? The ass was clothed and must have felt very important. However, as soon as Jesus got off the ass, nobody heard of the ass again. The Bible did not even bother to tell us what happened to the ass. Once the Holy Spirit leaves you, you are finished. I pray that the Holy Spirit will never leave you in Jesus name.

Memory Verse: Acts 1:8 - “But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
