Topic:
The All-Sufficient God
Text: Psalm 24:1-10
The Creator of heaven and earth is our Great Provider. The earth
and everyone in it belongs to the Lord. This is why when I need
financial help, and look up to the one who had been helping me
in the past in a way that I cannot understand, He will help me.
God has been my provider and He will continue to provide for me.
He is our Helper from ages past. Because He made all, I can look
unto Him for provision and healing. In Jeremiah 32:26-27, we read:
“Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah, saying, Behold,
I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard
for me?” He is the God of all flesh so, if my blood and
flesh are not working fine, He will speak to them. We have examples
in the Bible of bind people who came to Jesus and received their
sight. In the same manner, He can speak to dead wombs. You know
the case of Sarah, in Genesis 18:13-14. In Matthew 2, we read
of some wise men who came to Jesus. They said they had come to
meet the King of the Jews and to worship Him because they were
awed to find themselves in the presence of their Maker. In Revelation
4:9-11, we read about what is happening in Heaven: “And
when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that
sat on the throne, who liveth forever and ever, The four and twenty
elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship
him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before
the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory
and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for
thy pleasure they are and were created.” What must be our
response to the One who made Heaven and earth? Our response is
to fall down before Him and worship Him. He has been our Help
in ages past; He will be our Help in ages to come. He made all
things. He is the Alpha and the Omega. Trust in Him.

made the heaven and the earth they great power and stretched out
arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.” |
